Welcome to the 2015 Clinical Centers of Excellence in Pain Management Awards Program

The American Pain Society Clinical Centers of Excellence in Pain Management Awards Program helps advance the quality of pain management in the United States by recognizing and rewarding excellence in quality clinical care.

Central to the APS vision: "APS envisions a world where pain prevention and relief are available to all people" - this program aims to identify U.S.-based, multidisciplinary teams providing distinguished, comprehensive pain care to serve as examples to other pain management programs.

These awards are given annually and recognize pain-care teams that overcome difficult challenges to provide outstanding, exemplary care for those with chronic pain disorders, acute pain after surgery or trauma and in palliative care settings for pain from cancer and other terminal conditions.

General Guidelines and Instructions for the Online Award Application Process

The award application process includes the following components:

• Personal contact information for the Program Contact, Endorser signing for the award application
• Program/Organization Type
• Program Statistics
• Narrative Responses
• Supporting Documentation
• Concluding the Application
• Endorser signing for the award application's endorsement

Upon completing the online Confirmation step, an email will be sent to your Endorser signing for the award application requesting them to review and endorse your award application. At this point you will NOT be able to EDIT your award application after you conclude the online application..

Online Award Application and Endorsement Deadline

All applications and endorsements MUST be completed online by 11:59 PM PST on Friday, November 28, 2014. Incomplete award applications will not be considered.
